Monday: First Day of Class - Bring in School Supplies (See Tab for Supplies)

and Read Questions (numbers 1-9). Homework is Due on Monday.

Monday: Read “What To Bring” on pages 9 – 12 in your Close Reader. Answer all the ReRead and Read Questions (numbers 1-6).
Homework is Due on Wednesday.
Tuesday:
Wednesday: Read two articles about the country in Africa that your Warm-Up child is from. Take notes about the country
that you can use in your story. Homework is Due on Tuesday.
Remember that you have a Vocab Test on Friday.
Thursday: Everybody will write a ½ page opinion of who they thing has the best immigration policy. This is only an opinion thus we must
respect those who differ from our opinion. This is one of the greatest privileges we have in this country (to be free to have our
own opinions and not be persecuted for having them). Homework is due Tuesday
